Job summary

Talent Recruit seeks an Accountant for our Kulim, Kedah location to lead monthly financial statements for product lines and advise product-line managers. The role emphasizes fixed asset management, cost analysis, and risk control in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Bahasa Melayu, English, and Chinese, with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience. On-site work hours are 8:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
• Overseas education is an advantage.
• CMA/ACCA qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements of product lines and provide timely, accurate information to product line managers.
• Analyze and manage assets, organize regular inventory, reconcile accounts, and provide management advice.
• Flag risk indicators and suggest timely risk management actions to address issues.
• Digitally develop existing reports and promote information technology platform development.
• Coordinate annual and rolling budget measurements for the business unit or factory and propose corrective actions to meet targets.
• Regularly analyze factory operations, monthly output, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Assist headquarters and affiliates with financial business support and complete other tasks as assigned.

Position Title: Accountant

Work Location: Kulim, Kedah

Working hour: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Mon - Friday)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements of the product lines and provide timely and accurate decision-making information and recommendations to the product line managers on the business under their jurisdiction.
• Analysis and management of assets, the organization of regular inventory and reconciliation, to ensure that the accounts are consistent, and provide management advice.
• Risk early warning, found that the financial indicators are abnormal, need to put forward risk management and reflect the problem in a timely manner.
• Digital development of existing reports, with and promote the establishment and development of information technology platform.
• Coordinate the business unit or factory annual and rolling budget measurement, to exceed the budget matters in a timely manner to propose corrective action to ensure that performance is achieved.
• Regularly analyze the cycle of factory business operations, monthly output process sharing, cost reduction and improvement matters.
• Assist the headquarters, affiliates of the financial business support matters. Completion of other tasks assigned by the department head.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field. Overseas education is an advantage. CMA/ACCA qualification is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial management in manufacturing industry or CPA firms.
• Strong understanding of cost and financial analysis, fixed asset management, and risk control.
• Familiar with China Accounting Standards & IFRS.
• Proficient in various financial and data management systems such as SAP, OA, etc.
• Strong observation and analytical skills, meticulous and rigorous work, and strong stress tolerance.
• Bahasa Melayu, English, and Chinese, as the role requires communication and reporting to Chinese-speaking management.
