TOPLINE DENTAL CONCEPT SDN. BHD. in Puchong, Selangor is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. You will maintain accurate financial records, prepare statements and ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.

Working closely with senior management, you will manage ledgers, assist with payroll and tax compliance, and support monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to enable informed strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or MIA or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of financial accounting and reporting experience in a relevant industry.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced spreadsheet functions.
• Experience in healthcare or dental sector would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Recording and processing financial transactions (invoices, receipts, expense claims).
• Maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciling bank statements and ledgers.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per MFRS.
• Performing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assisting with payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Supporting preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Maintaining audit trails and documentation for transactions.
• Assisting with tax compliance and tax documentation.
• Liaising with external auditors and providing required information.
• Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team at our Puchong, Selangor location on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role within our organisation, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Accountant will play a critical role in supporting the financial health and transparency of TOPLINE DENTAL CONCEPT SDN. BHD., working closely with senior management to provide timely and accurate financial information for strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and processing financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
• Preparing and maintaining general ledger accounts and reconciling bank statements and subsidiary ledgers
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
• Performing account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment authorisation
• Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports, budgets and forecasts for management review
• Maintaining comprehensive audit trails and supporting documentation for all transactions
• Assisting with tax compliance and the preparation of tax-related documentation
• Liaising with external auditors and providing necessary financial information and documentation
• Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and implementing best practices

What we're looking for

• A recognised professional accounting qualification such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), or Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) or equivalent qualification
• A minimum of 2–3 years' experience in financial accounting and reporting within a relevant industry
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use advanced spreadsheet functions
• Experience in preparing financial statements and managing general ledger accounting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• A professional, ethical approach to financial management and compliance
• Experience in the healthcare or dental sector would be advantageous
