Position Title: Accountant
Snapshot of the role:
To support the company's accounting and financial reporting functions and responsible for monitoring manufacturing cost performance, as well as supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
- To assist in prepare and assist in reviewing management accounts, financial statements, and financial analysis reports to ensure accuracy and timely submission
- To support the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), inventory accounting, and fixed assets management
- To monitor and maintain manufacturing cost data, analyze production cost variances, and ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation and stock movement transactions
- To participate in and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and necessary journal adjustments.
- To support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- To prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and reconciliations, and liaise with external auditors and tax agents during statutory audits, tax submissions, and regulatory reporting.
- To support in liaising with internal departments to investigate and resolve discrepancies related to inventory, costing, or operational transactions.
- To support and enhance ERP system utilization, including participating in system implementations, finance module improvements, and process optimization initiatives
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- ACCA/CIMA or relevant professional qualification
- 3-5 years working experience in account field, preferably in manufacturing industry.
