Private Advertiser in Subang Jaya is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. The role is based at our Subang Jaya branch with occasional travel to the Tanjung Malim site.

You will handle daily transactions, perform bank reconciliations, prepare cash flow plans, and assist in budgeting and audit preparation. Fresh graduates are welcome; ACCA part-qualified candidates will have an added advantage.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations (SST, withholding tax, corporate income tax).
• Familiarity with SAP accounting systems is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to Tanjung Malim when required; ACCA part-qualified is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including receipts, payments, invoices, and journal entries using SAP.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Verify supplier invoices and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing cash flow plans, expense reports, and budget variance analysis.
• Support fixed asset verification, inventory monitoring, and cost tracking.
• Assist in preparing SST returns, withholding tax documentation, CP204 instalment calculations, and other tax-related schedules.
• Maintain Form CJ(01) records for SST-exempted items.
• Assist with annual budgeting, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Travel to the Tanjung Malim site when required to support accounting operations.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to support daily accounting operations, cash and bank management, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This position is based at our Subang Jaya branch, with occasional business travel to our main operations in Tanjung Malim, approximately once a week, subject to discussion.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting transactions, including receipts, payments, invoices, and journal entries using SAP.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Verify supplier invoices and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.

Assist in preparing cash flow plans, expense reports, and budget variance analysis.

Support fixed asset verification, inventory monitoring, and cost tracking.

Assist in preparing SST returns, withholding tax documentation, CP204 instalment calculations, and other tax-related schedules.

Maintain and update Form CJ(01) records for SST-exempted items.

Assist with annual budgeting, financial reporting, and audit preparation.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

Maintain proper filing and archiving of accounting documents in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Travel to the Tanjung Malim site when required to support accounting operations and coordinate with relevant teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

0–2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Basic knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations, including SST, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.

Familiarity with SAP accounting systems is an advantage.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles.

Understanding of bank reconciliation, financial documentation, and internal controls.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and willingness to learn.

Able to work independently on routine tasks and collaborate effectively with different departments.

Willing to travel to Tanjung Malim when required.

ACCA part-qualified candidates will have an added advantage.

Work Location & Travel

Primary workplace: Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Business travel: Tanjung Malim, Perak, potentially once a week.

Travel frequency and arrangements are negotiable.
