Job summary

Ferrotec Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to handle daily AP tasks in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently to ensure timely invoice processing and payment preparation. Responsibilities include invoice matching, AP reconciliation, month-end support, and meticulous records management. Experience with SAP or ERP systems is preferred, and candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
• Good knowledge of SAP/OA or other accounting/ERP systems.
• Basic accounting principles and AP processes.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounts payable activities, including invoice processing, verification, and payment preparation.
• Perform invoice matching and ensure proper supporting documents are maintained.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with relevant departments or suppliers.
• Perform AP reconciliation and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.

Job description

Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with relevant departments or suppliers when necessary.

Perform AP reconciliation and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.

Assist with month-end closing activities and other finance-related tasks.

Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounts payable records.

Ensure AP transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in Accounts Payable or accounting.

Good knowledge of SAP/OA or other accounting/ERP systems.

Good understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Willing to take on additional accounting and finance tasks as assigned by the superior.

Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
