Job summary

Pioneer Coachbuilders Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee all accounting functions, including AP, AR, invoicing, and cash flow management. You will prepare financial statements and budget analyses, ensuring strict internal controls and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting/finance within manufacturing, with supervisory experience preferred, and strong Excel/modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of accounting functions, invoicing, AP, AR, and cash flow management.
• Prepare financial reports, including financial statements and budget performance analysis, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal control systems.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheets and bank accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Input and manage promotion expenses in the expense management system based on distributor claims.
• Support management in liaising with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and provide accurate financial status reports to management for decision-making.
• Supervise and support the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Any other tasks assigned by management

Job description

Prepare financial reports, including financial statements and budget performance analysis, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal control systems.

Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheets and bank accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

Input and manage promotion expenses in the expense management system based on distributor claims.

Support management in liaising with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.

Monitor cash flow and provide accurate financial status reports to management for appropriate decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional Certifications: CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or other relevant qualifications preferred.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, and manufacturing industries, with supervisory experience preferred.

Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.

Ability to delegate tasks effectively and manage a team.

Excellent planning, implementation, and coordination skills.
