The Account/Finance Executive is responsible for supporting the finance department in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial transactions. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial information to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Prepare and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Record journal entries, manage ledgers, and reconcile accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

2. Financial Reporting

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and management summaries.
• Provide data analysis to support decision-making and financial planning.
• Monitor budget vs actual expenses and report variances.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and manage collections.
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams regarding payment issues.

4. Compliance & Audit Support

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare documentation and assist auditors during internal and external audits.
• Maintain financial policies and procedures in accordance with company standards.

5. Administrative Support

• Assist finance manager in daily finance operations and ad-hoc financial tasks.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
