Job summary

TRINITY PRECISION MANUFACTURING SDN BHD in Kulai, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Accountant. You will maintain records, process supplier invoices, manage AR/AP, and support monthly financial reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 3 years of relevant accounting experience in finance or full set accounts.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP and accounting software experience preferred.
• Fluency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare journal entries.
• Process supplier invoices and payments; reconcile vendor statements.
• Manage customer invoicing, collections and credit control.
• Monitor bank balances and cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare costing reports and analyse operating expenses.

Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain accurate accounting records, prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations and support monthly financial reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, prepare payments, reconcile vendor statements and ensure timely settlement of accounts while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
• Manage customer invoicing, payment collections, account reconciliations and credit control activities to minimise overdue balances and maintain healthy cash flow.
• Monitor bank balances, prepare cash flow forecasts, manage banking transactions and ensure sufficient liquidity to support daily operational requirements.
• Prepare costing reports, analyse operational expenses, evaluate profitability and provide financial insights to support management decision-making and business performance.
• Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, expenditure monitoring and variance analysis to support effective financial planning and cost control.
• Handle tax computations, statutory submissions, regulatory compliance matters and liaise with tax authorities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Support external audits, prepare statutory schedules, maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to applicable regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, calculate depreciation, monitor asset movements and conduct verification exercises to ensure accurate asset records.
• Implement internal control procedures, monitor compliance, identify financial risks, and recommend improvements to strengthen governance and operational efficiency.
• Maintain organised, accurate and audit-ready accounting records, supporting documents, contracts and financial files in accordance with company requirements.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers and business partners regarding financial matters, account issues and operational coordination activities.
• Utilise and manage OS System, accounting software and ERP systems for transaction processing, report generation, data maintenance and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Handle full set accounts independently, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, month-end closing and statutory compliance activities.
• Monitor inventory transactions, stock reconciliations, product costing and manufacturing cost analyses to ensure inventory accuracy and effective cost control.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance or full set accounts.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, taxation requirements and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software is preferred.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Experience communicating with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers and business partners is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and external stakeholders.
• Independent and proactive team player with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
• Proficient command of Bahasa Melayu and English, both written and spoken.
