We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company's daily accounting operations, financial documentation, project-related accounting, and payment processes. This role is suitable for an individual who is organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction and property development environment, where accuracy and timely financial reporting are important.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents
• Perform data entry and maintain proper filing of financial documents
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and other relevant reconciliations
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger and supporting schedules
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up where necessary
• Assist in maintaining accounting records for construction and development projects
• Monitor project-related expenses and ensure costs are properly recorded and allocated
• Process and verify invoices from contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Preferably 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in the construction, property development, engineering, or related industry is an advantage
• Familiar with full-set accounts and general accounting processes
• Good knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing
• Experience handling contractor/subcontractor invoices and project-related costs is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good numerical and analytical skills

• Good organizational and time-management skills
