Job summary

DOMESTIC CLASS SDN. BHD. is seeking an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive in Kuala Lumpur to manage the full set of accounts and ensure accurate monthly closes. You will liaise with estate and operation teams, prepare schedules, monitor cash flow, and work with auditors, tax agents, and secretaries.

A Diploma/Degree in Accounting and at least 3 years' experience are required, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with AutoCount/QnE. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar position.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Familiar with accounting software such as SQL / AutoCount / QnE.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Bahasa Malaysia preferable.
• Self-motivated, independent, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Audit experience and plantation accounting will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records, including AR / AP and GL entries.
• Handle full set of accounts and prepare relevant schedules on monthly basis.
• Liaise with estate team on finance matters.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts before group consolidation.
• Collaborate with operation team for analysis of financial data.
• Monitor company's cash flow and perform bank reconciliation.
• Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agents, Company Secretaries and other Financial Institutions.
• Maintain Fixed Asset master data, recording acquisitions/disposals, depreciation, revaluation.
• Handle payments from debtors with corresponding to purchasing department.
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required by superior.

Account Executive/Senior Account Executive

This role involves maintaining accurate accounting records and handling the full set of accounts for the organisation. You will prepare relevant schedules on a monthly basis, liaise with estate and operation teams on finance-related matters, and ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts before group consolidation.

Key responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounting records, including AR / AP and GL entries

Handle full set of accounts and prepare relevant schedules on monthly basis (e.g.: supplier invoices, contractors claim, estate claims)

Liaise and coordinate with estate team on all matters related to finance

Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts before sending for group consolidation

Collaborate with operation team for analysis of financial data

Monitor company's cash flow and perform bank reconciliation

Liaise with Auditors, Tax Agents, Company Secretaries and other Financial Institutions

Maintain Fixed Asset master data, recording fixed asset acquisition and dispositions, depreciation posting, revaluation in the accounting system

Handle payment from debtors with corresponding to purchasing department

Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required by superior

About you

Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of working experience in similar position

Proficient in Microsoft Application such as MS Word and MS Excel

Familiar in accounting software (eg: SQL / Autocount / QnE system)

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia are preferable

Self-motivated, independent, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Audit experience and plantation accounting will be an added advantage
