Job summary

Oriental Sunrise Engineering Sdn. Bhd is seeking an experienced Account Executive in Kuala Lumpur to manage full sets of accounts, monthly closings, and financial reporting.

You will handle AP/AR, vouchers, and SST submissions, while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and deadlines. The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Accounting or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in SQL Accounting Software, and strong communication skills in Bahasa

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in handling full set accounts.
• Proficient in SQL Accounting Software.
• Familiar with SST submission and statutory requirements.
• Experience in construction accounting will be an advantage.
• Experience in liaising with auditors, tax agents and company secretary will be an advantage.
• Independent, responsible, meticulous and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to read and write Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts independently.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
• Perform monthly accounts closing and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly management accounts / financial reports.
• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices and relevant accounting documents.
• Handle monthly SST submission and ensure timely compliance.
• Prepare and submit other relevant monthly/periodic statutory submissions.
• Monitor and maintain proper accounting filing and documentation.
• Liaise with auditors and provide necessary schedules and supporting documents for audit.
• Liaise with tax agents on tax-related matters and provide supporting documents.
• Liaise with company secretary on statutory and corporate matters.
• Assist in preparation of audit, tax and statutory documents.
• Assist with year-end closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate and comply with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Handle any other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned.
