Job summary

UMR Strategic Sdn Bhd is hiring an Account Executive to join the finance and accounting team in Subang Jaya. You will manage the full set of accounts, support month-end and year-end closing, perform financial analysis and reconciliations, and ensure the integrity of the company’s financial records.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 2–4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is needed, Mandarin is an advantage, and Excel with

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with month-end closing, financial reporting, bank reconciliation and budgeting.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and related accounting functions.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are accurately recorded and completed in a timely manner, particularly during month-end closing.
• Prepare and process accounting entries, including receipts, payments, purchases, sales, journal entries and other financial transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts, expenses, revenues and other financial accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, management reports, budgets, financial analysis and other reports as required by management.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring cash flow forecasts and monthly budgets.
• Review accounting records and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure financial information is properly maintained.
