Job summary

NCT FORWARDING & SHIPPING SDN BHD is seeking a competent finance professional to manage full accounting functions and monthly closes in Sabah. You will advise on tax planning strategies and statutory deadlines while supervising the finance team and ensuring accurate reporting.

The role requires timely SST submission, e-Invoice compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements. You will liaise with bankers, auditors, and tax agents to complete audit schedules and maintain orderly records.

Qualifications

• Must maintain full accounting entries and supporting worksheets for monthly closes.
• Ability to advise management on tax planning strategies and deadlines.
• Experience supervising a accounting team and day-to-day financial operations.
• Knowledge of SST submission and e-Invoice compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-sets of accounts, prepare financial statements, and monthly closings.
• Ensure completeness of entries with supporting documents by deadlines.
• Supervise the accounting team and oversee daily financial operations.
• Assist in financial reporting, taxation matters, and audits.
