Job summary

Sinkang Administration Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage daily accounting operations in Sabah, covering AP, AR and GL, and to assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.

You will prepare vouchers, invoices and supplier payments, perform bank reconciliations, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and authorities to ensure SST compliance and proper records.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of full set of accounts is an added advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken Mandarin, English, and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, management reports, budget and cash flow updates.
• Prepare and process supplier payments.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements (e.g. SST, e-Invoicing where applicable).
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and any ad hoc finance or administrative duties assigned by management.
