Job summary

Borneo Calling Tour & Travel Sdn Bhd in Penampang, Sabah, seeks an Account Executive to handle day-to-day accounting, invoicing, payables/receivables, and cash flow reporting.

You will work with auditors and tax agents, support month-end close, and coordinate with operations and sales on billing and payments.

Required: 2–3 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Malaysian e-Invoice requirements and accounting regulations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SQL Account.
• Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Positive attitude and ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.

Responsibilities

About the role

Seeking for a talented and experienced Account Executive to join our team. Based in Penampang, Sabah, this full-time role will be responsible for a variety of accounting and reporting duties.

What you'll be doing

Performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, cash management and reconciliations.

Liaise with auditors and tax agents for financial and compliance matters.

Preparing and issuing customer invoices and e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN requirements.

Managing accounts payable and ensuring timely payments to suppliers, hotels, and service providers.
