Job summary

BABA ECO GROUP BHD is seeking an Account Executive to join the Finance team in Malaysia. The role supports day-to-day accounting and financial operations, with emphasis on accuracy and timely processing.

Fresh graduates with a strong accounting background are encouraged to apply, along with 1–3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include payroll processing for Operators, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and assisting with monthly management accounts and year-end statements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and related accounting documents.
• Ensure accounting transactions comply with policies, standards, and statutory requirements.
• Assist with SST, tax matters, audit requirements, and regulatory submissions.
• Support the Finance Manager in daily finance operations and ad hoc duties.

Job Responsibilities

Handle full set or partial accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensure timely data entry into the accounting system.

Responsible for preparing and processing monthly payroll for Operators, ensuring accurate calculation of basic salary, overtime, allowances, deductions and other payroll-related payments within the stipulated timeline.

Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations.

Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.

Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and other relevant accounting documents.

Ensure accounting transactions comply with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Assist with SST, tax matters, audit requirements, and other regulatory submissions.

Support the Finance Manager in daily finance operations and ad hoc finance and administrative duties.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-3 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
