Job summary

Moon Environment Engineering Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan seeks a responsible Account Executive to manage the full set of accounts, financial reporting, and daily operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

You will handle AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, prepare monthly management accounts, and assist auditors and regulators.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience in handling full set of accounts is mandatory.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Malaysian tax regulation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Prepare documents for auditors, tax agents and regulators.
• Assist in annual audits, tax computation and statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in payroll processing and statutory submissions.

Job description

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our growing team in Negeri Sembilan. You will be responsible for managing the company's full set of accounts, financial reporting, and daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, be able to work independently, and ensure full compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation

Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and supporting schedules

Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely data entry

Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts

Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Prepare schedules and documents for external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and government authorities

Assist in annual audits, tax computation, and statutory filings

Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies

Assist in payroll processing, as well as statutory submissions including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB

About you

Diploma, Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience

Hands-on experience in handling full set of accounts is mandatory

Proficiency in accounting software

Well-versed in Malaysian tax regulations, audit requirements, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and payroll processing

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Able to work independently with minimum supervision, meticulous, and resourceful

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage
