BIG GRAIN CREDIT SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Executive to support accounting, tax, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple group companies in Malaysia. The role requires strong organisation, accuracy, and the ability to liaise with internal teams and external parties.
The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in accounting or finance, with about 3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to support the accounting and financial operations of multiple companies within the Group. The role covers accounting support, tax matters, bank reconciliation, corporate secretarial coordination, licensing compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be organised, accurate, able to work independently, and comfortable liaising with internal teams and external parties.
Prepare and maintain accurate Payment Vouchers (PV), Journal Vouchers (JV), and supporting documents for all transactions.
Record company transactions, expenses, and other accounting entries accurately and on a timely basis.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
Review financial records and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in tax estimation, tax instalment payments, and tax return matters, ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines and requirements.
Liaise with the Company Secretary on matters relating to changes in directors, shareholders, company information, and other corporate matters.
Coordinate with banks on updates to directors, company names, authorised signatories, and banking information.
Keep updated on relevant council requirements, regulatory requirements, and compliance matters affecting assigned companies.
Monitor the financial activities and status of assigned companies, including active companies, companies with minimal transactions, and dormant companies.
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Preferably 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting, taxation, or related functions.
Good understanding of accounting principles and basic Malaysian tax requirements.
Experience in handling multiple companies or group accounts will be an added advantage.
Experience with accounting software is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Good organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal departments and external parties.
Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
