Lush in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Executive to support the Senior Finance Manager in financial and management accounting, including monthly closings, audit schedules, tax filing, and payment processing.

The role covers treasury-related tasks such as AR, invoicing, and reporting, with opportunities to gain exposure across finance operations and reporting, while maintaining accuracy and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day financial operations including sales & collection and invoicing.
• Upload weekly and monthly global sales reports to the portal.
• Prepare monthly accounts with AR ledgers and supporting schedules.
• Ensure e-invoices are consolidated and uploaded to the LHDN portal on time.
• Manage AR aging and ensure accurate reflections.
• Prepare quotations and billing to corporate customers.
• Assist ad hoc and project assignments as directed.

Job description

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the Accounts Executive supports the Senior Finance Manager on financial and management accounting, including financial operation matters, on a timely and accurate manner. This includes monthly closing of accounts, preparation of audit schedules, variance analysis, income tax filing and payment processing.

Key responsibilities

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as sales & collection, invoicing, and other transactions

Update / Upload weekly and monthly global sales report to portal

Support in preparation of monthly accounts ie: Accounts Receivables (AR) ledgers and ensure supporting schedules (bank reconciliation; prepayment schedules; accrual schedules etc) are up to date

Ensure e-invoices are consolidated and uploaded in the LHDN portal on time

Manage & ensure Accounts Receivable aging are up to date and correctly reflected

Prepare quotation & billing to corporate customers

Perform store stocktake or warehouse stocktake verification or checking as when necessary

Set up purchase with purchase (PWP) at system as and when required

Perform store visit for documentation checking

Verify store petty cash documentation for reimbursement purposes

Assist ad hoc and project assignments by superior
