Job summary

Eng Kah Enterprise Sdn Bhd, based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, seeks an experienced accounts professional to handle full-cycle accounting, costing, and reporting.

You will manage invoicing, reconciliations, cash flow, and cost analysis while liaising with auditors and authorities. On-site, full-time position offering stability and growth within a manufacturing/trading group.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience; trading/manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong costing knowledge including product costing and inventory costing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Auto Count and Monitor ERP.
• Good communication with stakeholders and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting operations.
• Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes, filing and monthly reports.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations.
• Monitor and manage cash flow including collections and payments.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and comply with internal controls.
• Assist in monthly management financial and costing reports.

Job description

Handle full set of accounts, including daily accounting operations.

Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes, filing and monthly reports.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations.

Monitor and manage cash flow, including collections and payments.

Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Prepare and analyze costing information, including product costing and cost control for trading and manufacturing operations.

Assist in the preparation of monthly management financial and costing reports.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries and relevant authorities.

Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements.

Support management with cost analysis, variance analysis and ad-hoc financialreports.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Accounting or related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in trading and manufacturing industries is an advantage.

Good knowledge of costing and cost accounting, including product costing and inventory-related costing.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Auto Count and Monitor ERP system.

Good communication skills with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Strong initiative, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Team player with a positive and professional attitude.

Possess strong accounting and costing knowledge and be able to handle complex accounting and costing matters independently.
