Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in full set accounting including GL, AP and AR and monthly closings.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and statutory filings.
• Payroll accounting and HRDF/PCB familiarity.
• Liaison with auditors and tax agents for filings and audits.
• Strong documentation and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle GL, AP, AR, monthly closing and prepare P&L and balance sheet.
• Manage supplier payments, customer collections, staff claims and bank reconciliations.
• Handle tax matters including e-Invoicing, CP204, EA/CP58 forms and related filings.
• Process payroll-related accounting, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and HRD Corp claims.
• Perform inventory, COGS and stock reconciliations; maintain fixed asset registers.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, LHDN and company secretary on audits and filings.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents for reports.
• Support management with costing, financial analysis and other accounting tasks.

An Account Executive role responsible for managing full set accounts independently, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly closing and preparation of management accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Set Accounts: Independently handle GL, AP, AR, monthly closing and preparation of management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet.

2. Payment & Reconciliation: Manage supplier payments, customer collections, staff claims, bank reconciliation and payment gateway transactions.

3. Tax & Statutory Compliance: Handle LHDN e-Invoicing, CP204 payments, EA Forms, CP58 Forms and other relevant tax matters.

4. Payroll & HRD Corp: Handle or assist with payroll-related accounting, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD Corp levy submissions and training grant claims.

5. Inventory & Fixed Assets: Perform inventory, COGS and stock reconciliations, and maintain fixed asset registers.

6. Audit & Corporate Compliance: Liaise with auditors, tax agents, LHDN and company secretary on audits, tax matters and SSM statutory filings.

7. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate accounting records, supporting documents and financial reports.

8. Ad-hoc Tasks: Support management with costing, financial analysis and other accounting-related matters.
