Job summary

BE Logistics Sdn Bhd in Johor, Malaysia is seeking a diligent Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounts operations, data entry, and financial recording.

You will handle monthly closings, bank reconciliations, journal entries and prepare reports, while liaising with auditors and banks.

The ideal candidate has a finance degree, at least 2 years' experience, and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Good attitude, Independent, Analytical skills, Meticulous, Multi-tasking.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into the data.
• Must be able to handle confidential/ sensitive information in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Handle monthly account closing, bank reconciliation, journal generation, stock variance adjustment
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports, including revenues, costs, expenses, profit & loss, balance sheet, annual budget, and asset management
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and other statutory bodies/authorities
• Assist in identifying & resolving operational issues relating to accounting
• Perform any other related duties or ad-hoc assignments as and when requested by the superior and management
