Job summary

Adigo Ventures Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to maintain accurate records, prepare journal entries and support monthly closing activities. You will assist in financial statements, handle daily transactions and manage AP/AR processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Relevant working experience in accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to work independently.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries and perform monthly closing activities.
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Handle daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers.
• Assist in preparing monthly accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with audit, tax, SST, e-Invoice and other statutory matters.
