Job summary

Developer-Tourism (subsidiary of listed company) in Genting Highlands seeks an Account Executive to support the Finance & Account department. You will handle GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets, ensure accurate invoicing and payments, and assist in monthly closing and cash flow planning.

The role requires a diploma/degree in accounting or finance, 2–4 years of related experience, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Knowledge of SQL Accounting is a plus in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or professional qualification.
• At least 2–4 years of relevant experience in full set accounting with E-invoice knowledge; audit experience is a plus.
• Computer literate; knowledge of SQL Accounting software is an advantage.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full spectrum of accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Monitor creditors/debtors listings and monthly aging reports for management submission.
• Monitor reports and reconciliation schedules for payables/receivables.
• Verify invoices and payments for accuracy before final approval.
• Assist in monthly and yearly accounts closing.
• Prepare monthly cash flow statements and projections.
• Monitor customer accounts for payment issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform daily and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.

• To assist the Head of Department in managing the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions of the company.
• Duties & Responsibilities:
• Handle the full spectrum of accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
