Jora Malaysia is seeking a diligent financial accountant to maintain accurate records and record all transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries. You will prepare income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements, and ensure timely reporting.
The role also covers bank reconciliations, tax compliance, support for audits, and use of accounting software and Excel.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of bank transactions.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Prepare and submit tax returns and reports as required.
Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial audits by external auditors.
Address auditor inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial operations and reporting.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or similar professional certification is a plus.
Fresh graduates are welcome.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
