Job summary

UMERAN RESOURCES SDN BHD is seeking a diligent accounting assistant in Kuala Lumpur to support day-to-day financial activities and reporting. The role involves processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate records across AP, AR, and GL.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, with a good grasp of basic accounting principles and strong Excel skills. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and contribute to a teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining full set of accounts (AP, AR, and General Ledger).
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Support in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors when required.
• Support tax-related matters (e.g., SST, filing, documentation).
• Perform data entry and update accounting systems.
• Assist with any ad-hoc accounting or administrative tasks.
• Other related duties assigned by management from time to time.
