Jora Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to handle daily operations including AP/AR/GL entries. You will prepare invoices and manage collections, while ensuring timely payments and accurate ledger maintenance.
The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Excel and SQL Accounting, and fluency in English and Mandarin to liaise with customers and suppliers. Independent work attitude and attention to detail are essential.

Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL Accounting.
Familiar with full set accounting is an advantage.
Good understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
Meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Handle daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries.
Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
Follow up on outstanding payments and perform customer account reconciliations.
Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of management accounts.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
Assist in inventory reconciliation and stock-related accounting transactions.
Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audits and tax matters.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments on accounting-related matters.
Support finance team in budgeting, reporting, and ad-hoc assignments.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
