Job summary

Kinetic Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to process supplier invoices, manage payments, reconcile vendor statements, and support AR activities.

The role requires Diploma in Accounting/Finance/LCCI, proficiency in AutoCount and MS Office, and strong communication in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Melayu. Based in Sabah, Malaysia, this position offers hands-on finance work, data entry, month-end closing, and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must know AutoCount Accounting Software.
• Diploma in Accounting/Finance/LCCI or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office.
• Meticulous with a sense of urgency and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu to communicate with diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and verify supporting documents.

• Perform daily data entry into accounting systems (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, UBS).
• Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare basic schedules.
• Update petty cash, staff claims, and reimbursement records.
• Maintain proper filing for audit purposes and ensure internal controls.

Job description

2. Accounts Receivable (AR)

Issue invoices, credit notes, and official receipts.

Update customer collections and follow up on outstanding payments.

Liaise with the sales/project team on billing matters.

3. General Accounting

Perform daily data entry into accounting systems (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, UBS).

Assist with month-end closing activities.

Prepare basic financial schedules and supporting documents.

Update petty cash, staff claims, and reimbursement records.

4. Documentation & Filing

Maintain proper filing of accounting documents (hardcopy & softcopy).

Prepare and update accounting records for audit purposes.

Ensure documents comply with internal control and company requirements.

5. Administrative Support

Assist with bank-in transactions and cheque preparation.

Coordinate with banks, suppliers, and internal departments when required.

Support HR/admin tasks (if assigned)

Qualifications:-

Must know operate Autocount Accounting Software .Minimum.

Diploma in Accounting /Finance/LCCI or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of accounting system and Ms Office.

Meticulous with a sense of urgency and able to work with minimum supervision.

Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude.

Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
