HNH Business Solutions PLT is seeking an Accounts Assistant to be seconded on-site at a key client office in Malaysia. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, assist monthly closings, and liaise between the client and our firm’s team.

We are looking for a detailed-oriented and trustworthy Accounts Assistant to represent our firm on-site at one of our key client offices. In this role, you will be seconded to the client’s location to manage their day-to-day bookkeeping and support the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring seamless communication between our firm and the client.
Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cashbook entries, and general ledger postings.
Invoicing & Payments: Monitor client invoices, track outstanding payments, follow up on aged receivables, and process vendor payments.
Bank & Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, petty cash, and supplier/customer balances.
Monthly Accounts Support: Assist in compiling documents, schedules, and journals required for the preparation of monthly closing accounts and financial reports.
Document Management: Maintain neat, organized, and up-to-date physical and digital accounting files and receipts.
Client Interface: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for accounting queries, liaising professionally between the client’s team and our firm’s managing team.
Education: Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, LCCI, or a related discipline.
Experience: Fresh graduates with strong foundational knowledge in bookkeeping or general accounting. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting is an added advantage.
Software Skills: Hands-on experience or familiarity with MS Excel. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QNE) is an added advantage.

High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively on-site at a client’s location.
Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision while adhering to deadlines.
