Job summary

Aver Asia Rental Sdn Bhd is seeking an Account Assistant to join our growing finance team in Seri Alam, Johor. This full-time role supports accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records while you develop practical skills.

You will assist with stamp duty processing, document reviews, and data entry, work with various departments, and contribute to audit readiness. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; strong Excel and accounting software skills are preferred.

About the role

We are seeking an Account Assistant to join our growing finance team at Aver Asia Rental Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Seri Alam, Johor. As an Account Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records. This position offers you the opportunity to develop your accounting skills whilst contributing to the financial health and success of our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in processing stamp duty self-assessment and preparing the required documentation.
• Assist in reviewing supporting documents and verifying stamp duty calculations.
• Monitor stamp duty submissions and payment status to ensure timely processing.
• Maintain proper records of stamp duty assessments, payment receipts, and related documents.
• Liaise with relevant departments to obtain necessary documents and information for stamp duty processing.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of stamp duty-related documents for audit purposes.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the superior.
