Job summary

Monzone Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support financial statements, management reports, AR/AP processing, and GST compliance. The role covers operations in Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, requiring cross-border coordination with local entities and external auditors.

You will follow up on overdue receivables, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records while processing invoices and expenses across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in AR/AP and handling multiple entities.
• Knowledge of Singapore GST regulations and reporting.
• Ability to follow up with customers on payments.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports

Manage and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) movements

Follow up closely on outstanding customer payments and ensure timely collection of receivables

Monitor supplier payments and ensure payments are processed according to the agreed payment terms

Process invoices, payments, and expense claims

Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Prepare and submit GST returns and ensure timely payments

Handle accounting and financial matters for the company’s operations in Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines

Coordinate with the Singapore, Thailand, and Philippines companies on invoices, payments, expenses, and other accounting matters

Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents for Singapore, Thailand and Philippines operations

Liaise with external accountants, auditors, tax agents, and relevant parties in Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines when required

Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role

Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

Able to follow up with customers on outstanding payments and collections

Knowledge of Singapore GST regulations and reporting

Attention to detail and accuracy in work

Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting standards

Able to handle accounting matters for multiple entities across Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines

Good communication and coordination skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple accounting tasks
