Job summary

See Song & Sons Sdn Bhd in Kuchai Lama, Kuala Lumpur is expanding its finance team. The role handles daily accounting duties and prepares financial and management reports for a growing construction business.

You will manage AR/AP, fixed assets, GL and tax-related tasks, support month-end and year-end closes, and liaise with auditors and tax agents. Fresh graduates are welcome, with 2–3 years' experience preferred, and Mandarin ability considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting duties and prepare financial and management reports.
• Perform day-to-day finance operations like Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets Management, Cash Management, General Ledger, and other functions.
• Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and records, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, organize & maintain financial records with proper filling.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns, applicable tax submissions and audits.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily assigned accounting duties and prepare financial and management reports.
• Perform day-to-day finance operations like Account Receivables, Account Payable, Fixed Assets Management, Cash Management, General Ledger, and other functions.
• Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and records, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, organize & maintain financial records with proper filling.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns, applicable tax submissions and audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related fields.

• Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferable as an Accounts Assistant.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent numerical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AUTOCOUNT accounting software, MS Office & MS. Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a team and manage multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
• Mandarin speaking candidates are preferred due to business communication requirements
