Job summary

PTS Resources SDN. BHD. is seeking an accounting professional to manage daily operations, maintain the full set of accounts, and ensure timely payments. The role includes bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and support for auditing and taxation tasks.

Requirements include a Diploma in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of relevant experience, advanced MS Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting software and tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Professional qualifications desirable (ACCA/CPA).
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures.
• Familiar with accounting standards and tax laws.
• Excellent math and numerical accuracy.
• Advanced MS Excel and accounting software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations including documents processing and data entry.
• Maintain full set of accounts for the company.
• Check petty cash returns from branches and issue reimbursement cheques.
• Review staff expense claims and input to staff claim templates.
• Perform monthly bank statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare daily bank reconciliation reports.
• Cash flow management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Ensure timely payments to trade creditors and other third parties.
• Assist in auditing and taxation assignments.

Job description

Manage the daily operations, including documents processing & data entry and handle full set of accounts.

Ensure that all the full of accounts for the company is properly maintained.

Check on petty cash returns from branches and issue reimbursement cheque.

Check on staff expenses claim and input to staff claim template.

Perform monthly bank statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancy if any.

Prepare daily bank reconciliation report.

Cash Flow management, budgetary review and control.

To ensure timely payments to trade creditors and other third parties.

To assist in auditing and taxation assignments.

REQUIREMENTS:

Possess at least a Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related fields with professional qualifications.

At least 2 years working experience in related field.

Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.

Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filling procedure.

Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.

Advance level in MS Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.

Organization and multi-tasking skills. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
