We are looking for a responsible, organised and detail-oriented Accounts & Admin Assistant to support our accounts team and manage day-to-day administrative matters in the office.
This is a suitable role for someone who is comfortable handling basic accounting documentation while also coordinating general office and management-related tasks.
The role includes preparing payment vouchers, invoices, official receipts and quotations, maintaining accounting records, filing documents, coordinating office suppliers and assisting management with interviews, visitors and other administrative matters. Knowledge of SQL Accounting Software and previous experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
Prepare and process payment vouchers.
Prepare invoices, official receipts and quotations.
Assist the accounts team with daily accounting and administrative tasks.
Perform filing and maintain proper records of accounting documents.
Ensure documents are properly organised and kept up to date.
Assist with other basic accounting-related tasks when required.
Coordinate office supplies and pantry supplies.
Manage visitor registration and visitor QR codes.
Arrange interviews, meetings and appointments for management.
Assist with general office administration and documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers, visitors and other external parties when required.
Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks and other duties assigned by management.
Minimum SPM / Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience using SQL Accounting Software is preferred.
Previous experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage.
Previous experience in accounts, administration or a similar role is an advantage.
Basic understanding of accounting documents such as invoices, receipts and payment vouchers.
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Good organisational and filing skills.
Detail-oriented, responsible and able to follow through on tasks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently as well as support the accounts and management team.
