Job summary

Tap Growth ai in Malaysia seeks an engineer to commission and maintain Access (OLT/ONU) equipment, and address technical and engineering issues during project implementation and operation.

The role includes providing technical training on Access networks, maintaining customer satisfaction, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring the stability and reliability of the Access production network. Fluency in English and Malay is required, with Mandarin preferred to liaise with the China team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, Computer & Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in access network maintenance with hands-on experience maintaining OLT/ODN/ONU equipment.
• Experience working with operator customers, NOC, field engineering teams or project teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Experience in customer/project coordination, including participation in project meetings, fault reporting and issue follow-up/closure.
• Working experience in GPON/Switch is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Relevant TM project/TM Access network experience is highly important.
• Familiar with basic networking technologies; proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Languages required: English and Malay; Mandarin proficiency preferred; Chinese candidates are preferred.
