Tap Growth ai is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of OLT/GPON or DWDM network equipment projects, from planning to closure. The role involves coordinating equipment delivery, site readiness, installation, testing, and handover while liaising with customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of telecom project management experience, exposure to TM projects, relevant certifications, and willingness to travel to project sites within the region.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in telecommunications network projects.
• Experience in Telekom Malaysia (TM) projects and TM FTTH/GPON, OLT, or DWDM rollout.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or other PM certifications are an advantage.
• Hands-on project experience in OLT/GPON or DWDM deployment preferred.
• Willing to travel frequently to project sites.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the end-to-end delivery and implementation of OLT/GPON or DWDM network equipment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, equipment delivery, site implementation, subcontractor coordination, customer communication, testing, acceptance, and project closure.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

• Manage the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle from PO/contract award to final acceptance and project closure.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and delivery targets.
• Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality requirements.
• Identify project risks and issues and implement appropriate mitigation and recovery plans.

Equipment Delivery & Implementation

• Coordinate the delivery of OLT/GPON or DWDM equipment, materials, and related project resources.
• Coordinate site readiness, equipment installation, commissioning, configuration, integration, testing, and cutover activities.
• Work closely with technical teams to resolve implementation and technical issues.
• Ensure all project activities comply with customer requirements and applicable technical standards.

Subcontractor & Site Team Management

• Manage subcontractors, installation teams, and site resources to ensure project activities are completed according to schedule.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, work quality, safety, and productivity.
• Coordinate site access, permits, materials, tools, and other implementation requirements.
• Follow up and resolve site-related issues in a timely manner.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary project coordination point for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding project progress, issues, risks, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate project meetings and provide regular project status reports.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure timely resolution of project issues.

Testing, Acceptance & Project Closure

• Coordinate ATP, testing, acceptance, documentation, and handover activities.
• Ensure all project deliverable and acceptance documents are completed on time.
• Follow up on outstanding issues, punch-list items, and customer acceptance.
• Support project billing, POD/DO documentation, and project closure activities.

Project Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare project progress reports, project schedules, risk registers, issue lists, and management reports.
• Track project KPIs, milestones, material status, installation progress, and acceptance status.
• Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of project management or project delivery experience in telecommunications network projects.
• Experience in Telekom Malaysia (TM) projects and telecommunications network deployment is highly preferred.
• Experience in TM FTTH/GPON, OLT, or DWDM rollout projects.
• Experience with ATP, customer acceptance, project handover, and project closure.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or other recognized project management certification is an advantage.
• Hands-on project experience in OLT/GPON or DWDM equipment deployment and delivery is preferred.
• Good understanding of OLT/GPON or DWDM network architecture, equipment deployment, installation, commissioning, integration, testing, and cutover processes.
• Experience in project planning and schedule management, including independently handling project planning, progress tracking and resource coordination.
• Proven experience in managing project schedules, subcontractors, site teams, materials, resources, risks, quality, and customer relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/sites and priorities simultaneously.
• Willing to travel frequently to project sites within the assigned region.
• Good command of English. Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an advantage.
