Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, where applicable.

• Support examination processes, including question vetting, marking and invigilation.
• Conduct research and contribute to academic publications in the relevant field.
• Participate in research collaborations, grant applications, conferences and scholarly activities.
• Supervise student research projects, where applicable.
• Participate in Faculty meetings, committees and academic activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions and other teaching activities in the relevant discipline
• Develop and update teaching materials, assessments and examination papers in accordance with curriculum requirements

Requirements:

• Experience in student supervision, curriculum development and academic assessments is an added advantage
• Research publications, grant involvement and scholarly contributions will be advantageous
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and student engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an academic environment
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence, research and continuous professional development
