About the role:

As a web designer, you will create positive online experiences for small and medium-sized companies and local businesses in various sectors, including catering, local services and retail. Your role will involve supporting company clients in creating and modifying visually appealing websites for their businesses.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Make use of the website creation tools provided by the company (Webflow and LifeYo).
  • Carry out web design work for clients who have contracted this service, based on the information and notes provided by your colleagues.
  • Develop all the functions inherent to your area of expertise, such as participating in meetings, collaborating with and supporting colleagues, and discussing ways to improve internal processes.
  • Read, interpret and analyze the notes obtained in the briefing session between the implementation agent and the client and/or account executive, as well as research the client where possible (website and/or social media), to gain a better understanding of the needs of the business and the client in order to design an appropriate and compliant website. These responsibilities involve the use of: Salesforce and Google Chrome for research and inspiration.
  • Collect, organize, name and optimize all information and resources for the creation of the website. These responsibilities involve the use of: Salesforce, Hub, Google Drive, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and generative AI.
  • Develop the website in Webflow using all of the above, proofread your proposal after quality analysis of writing and design.
  • Attend meetings of various kinds, such as: status, training, performance follow-up, among others.
  • Share and document with the team, discoveries of tools or tricks that optimize and streamline processes.
  • Attend support requests to colleagues.
  • Conduct corporate security training sessions.
  • Report and document failures in the platforms and / or tools used in the department.
  • Design logos for clients of the company, occasionally.

Skills and knowlegde:

  • Adherence to standards in order to understand and act on instructions.
  • Service orientation. In order to be willing to be useful to customers and colleagues in the company, collaborating when something is requested.
  • Communication. In order to receive and exchange information concisely, clearly and empathetically with your team, in written or oral form.
  • Analytical skills. In order to break down situations and issues into their main components and establish effective responses.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to work with technology. Knowledge of customer service platforms (CRM) such as Salesforce, Hub, etc., desirable.
  • Knowledge of Webflow, Adobe Suite, indispensable requirement.- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS, indispensable requirement.
  • Knowledge of some other tool to build websites (Wix, Squarespace, Weebly,), desirable.- Knowledge of Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, or some CMS, desirable.
  • Adaptability to change, technology advances and changes, along with our processes.
  • Learning on the fly, each new website you design can bring new challenges that require new learning.
  • Commitment. In order to stick to the promises of delivery times established in the department.
  • Awareness. In order to analyse the context of each client, reaching a deep understanding of the client in order to intervene in an empathetic and human way.
  • Demonstrable previous experience in web design and development, 3-6 years, is not limiting for the candidate.
  • Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field.
  • Spanish - Native or as a second language
  • English - Native, Advanced Cambridge Level C1 or C2
