Stellantis in Mexico City is seeking a Power and Signal Distribution PI Release Engineer to lead wiring harness design and CAD release in Teamcenter, coordinating validation in vehicle and component environments and supporting manufacturing life cycle.

You will manage supplier engineering support, drive standardization of documents, review DFMEA/DVP submissions, and participate in packaging meetings. Strong communication and CAD tool skills are essential.

Formación

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 3 years of transportation wiring design or vehicle electrical systems experience.
• 5 years of engineering experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for wiring harnesses.
• Ensure part drawings and documentation match master models (Model is Master).
• Author and validate CCDs, CNs, IAAs, and PERs to meet release requirements.
• Confirm and justify design changes for vehicle programs.
• Conduct FPSO and support PSO activities with SQ.
• Own and manage GIMs entries with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support launch activities at the assembly plant and resolve issues.
• Contribute to DFMEA, DVP with CC validation, FO, and Design Rule compliance.
• Review supplier DFMEA and DVP submissions.
• Participate in ACE packaging meetings and scroll reviews.
• Maintain PDP documentation and FASTCAR records.
• Support complexity chart development and compliance reporting.
• Provide input for owner’s manual imagery and documentation.
• Drive standardization and harmonization of components and engineering documents.
