SEGULA Technologies in Mexico City seeks a Junior Design Release Engineer to bridge design and release for chassis powertrain mounts. You will support packaging and release, coordinate changes, and ensure NVH and durability goals are met during concept to launch.

The role requires 0–3 years in automotive design release, familiarity with CAD tools, and strong English communication within a global team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of product engineering, design release, or structural chassis/powertrain development within automotive industry.
• Fundamental understanding of vehicle dynamics and mechanics of materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic exposure to 3D CAD software (CATIA V5/V6 or NX) desirable.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Support the design, packaging, and release of powertrain mounting systems and related components.
• Coordinate engineering change management activities and maintain BOM data.
• Lead 3D DMU reviews and packaging studies for clearance within engine bay and chassis.
• Track deliverables and maintain engineering records across programs.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers on tooling status and data compliance.
• Assist in defining and tracking DVP&R for fatigue, stiffness, and environmental validation.
• Prepare technical reports, agendas, and presentations for reviews and milestones.
• Participate in root-cause analyses during prototyping and builds.
