Stellantis in Mexico City is seeking a Wiring Systems Engineer to design and validate wire harness schematics, CAN networks, and harness architectures, ensuring compliance with Stellantis electrical specifications across vehicle and component environments.

You will lead DFMEA and DVP&R activities, manage design changes, and support supplier systems engineering while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust electrical systems throughout the product life cycle.

Formación

• BS in Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive or related.
• 5 years of experience in Automotive industry and Product Development.
• Experience in Wiring design and release.
• Experience in DFMEA and DVP&R development and execution.
• Expertise in change management, vehicle specification and bill of material analysis.
• Good communication skills both written and spoken; Good English language.
• Conflict management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Administer wire harness schematics design and changes for a vehicle lifecycle.
• Determine wire harness architecture layout and CAN network implementation per specs.
• Determine wire attributes for all harness circuits.
• Determine fuse size and types based on electrical characteristics.
• Create wire harness complexity based on product planning information.
• Generate harness design optimization ideas (VAVE/VO).
• Design and validate electrical systems and released components to Stellantis specs.
• Assist wiring systems team with harness developments.
• Support wire harness and electrical system troubleshooting at test facilities and dealerships.
