Envision Energy in Mexico/Peru region seeks a Wind Engineer to design, engineer, and optimize utility-scale wind systems, collaborating with sales to provide engineering solutions. You will analyze RFPs, perform technical design and presentations, and translate customer requirements into technical wind solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or energy engineering.
• Fluency in technical English.
• Experience with wind energy projects and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with design concepts for short circuit protection and safety systems.

• Design, engineer, and optimize utility-scale Wind systems and work with sales team closely to offer engineering solution to sales team and customers.
• Analyze RFP documentation and assess project scope and risk.
• Conduct technical design and presentations and provide clarifications to our sales team and customers.
• Understand, interpret, and relay customer requirements into Wind technical solution designs.
• Review and submit technical tender response bundles within deadlines.
• Follow up and analyze previous technical tender submissions to understand outcome/result from technical point of view.
• Understand and keep up with storage market technical and engineering requirements and trends.
• Study competitive landscape for ongoing product technical solution development.
• Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to support them to negotiate and finalize contracts from technical perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering
• Fluency in technical English
• Familiarity with design concepts related to short circuit protection, conductor sizing, thermal systems, safety systems, etc.
• Practical knowledge in wind energy projects (onshore or offshore) and simulation tools (such as SCADA, WindPRO, OpenWind, etc.).
