Job summary

The Welding Engineer at BRP in Ciudad Juárez will drive manufacturing improvements, implementing new products with lean practices and supporting daily operations within the department. You will develop manufacturable parts with R&D, review manufacturing drawings, manage VSMs, and ensure quality and safety standards while coordinating with SAP and PPAP processes.

Fluent English and Spanish are required, and you will mentor teams, participate in ISO 9001:2015 compliance, and help optimize tooling,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial) and 3+ years in related field.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish; written and verbal proficiency.
• Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding, GD&T and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturable parts in collaboration with R&D, considering equipment capabilities.
• Review and release manufacturing drawings and update work instructions.
• Build and maintain Value Stream Maps (VSM) and machine workload records.
• Evaluate equipment requirements and design production tooling.
• Ensure safety, quality, and ISO 9001:2015 compliance in processes.
• Maintain spare parts lists and preventive maintenance programs.
• Support daily operations and provide SAP data for PPAP and QMS.
