Job summary

BRP in Ciudad Juárez seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering Department, optimize process and industrial strategies, and ensure operational efficiency across fabrication and assembly. You will drive CAPEX and OPEX management and oversee NPD project launches.

The role requires a Mechanical/Industrial engineering background, 5+ years of leadership, bilingual English/Spanish, and experience with line balancing, automation, and continuous improvement within ISO 9001:2015.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial/Electromechanical engineering
• Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience in manufacturing engineering
• Proven track record managing CAPEX and OPEX budgets
• Bilingual English/Spanish with full professional English proficiency (C1 level)

Responsibilities

• Direct, coach, and evaluate process, manufacturing, project, and technical engineering teams.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing flows through time studies, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies (5S, SMED, VSM, Kaizen).
• Maximize throughput while minimizing downtime, bottlenecks, and waste across fabrication and assembly operations.
• Develop, justify, and execute CAPEX investments for equipment, automation, and facility infrastructure.
• Manage engineering‑related OPEX budgets and implement continuous cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Lead the transfer and introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability through DFM principles.
• Plan and execute industrial automation projects, robotic cell integrations, and PLC system upgrades.
