Visteon Mexico is seeking a Warranty Engineer to analyze warranty data from customers and field returns, identifying root causes and driving corrective actions with cross-functional teams. You will prepare performance reports and support continuous improvement to reduce warranty costs and enhance product reliability.

The role requires close collaboration with quality, manufacturing, and engineering, and interaction with customer representatives to document and resolve warranty claims in line

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automotive/manufacturing environments, preferably in warranty, quality, or reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (8D, Ishikawa, FMEA) and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; English and Spanish language skills are an asset.

Role Description

The Warranty Engineer role at Visteon Mexico is a full-time, on-site position based in Chihuahua, CHH. This role is responsible for analyzing warranty data from customers and field returns, identifying root causes of product issues, and driving corrective and preventive actions with cross-functional teams. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams, preparing warranty performance reports, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce warranty costs and improve product reliability. The Warranty Engineer will interact with customer representatives, document findings and action plans, and ensure timely resolution of warranty claims in line with internal standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to interpret warranty trends, investigate issues, and support data-driven decisions.
• Candidates should possess solid Warranty and Quality Management knowledge to manage claims, understand product performance, and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, interface with customers, and present clear reports and recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, preferably in warranty, quality, or reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, FMEA) and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work on-site in Chihuahua, CHH, manage multiple priorities, and meet customer and internal deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, data analysis tools, quality systems); English and Spanish language skills are an asset.
