Job summary

ABB in Apodaca, Mexico is seeking a Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations and lead a team responsible for receiving, storing and dispatching products. You will develop work instructions, align procedures with production schedules, and drive service quality and efficiency while meeting KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of Logistics regulations such as CTPAT & OEA.
• Intermediate English level.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate effectively and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner.

Responsibilities

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee warehouse operations, manage a team of employees who receive, handle, store, and dispatch products, systems, and services to customers. Each day, you will establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as per production schedules and workflow. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business at Apodaca.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supervisor guidelines compliance.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet warehouse demands as per production schedules and workflow.
• Develops and maintains departmental work instructions for all tasks.
• Recommend measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment.
• Ensures set productivity and Key Performance Indication (KPI) targets are met by motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce.
