Job summary

ABB in Apodaca, Mexico, is seeking a Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations, lead a team, and align processes with production schedules.

You will optimize layouts, monitor KPIs, and ensure ISO standards, SAP and quality tools are applied. Advanced English is required. The role is onsite at ABB facilities in Apodaca.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management.
• Skilled in SAP.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 16001, 45001).
• Experience in daily warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Proven experience leading warehouse optimization and improvement projects.
• Understanding of material handling devices.
• Knowledge of quality tools such as AMEF, 8Ds, and 5W’s.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations and manage a team of employees who receive, handle, store, and dispatch products.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and workflow.
• Develop and maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks.
• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure high performance.
• Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to improve productivity.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages or delays in shipments.
• Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, on-time shipments, and productivity.
