Danieli Group, a worldwide leader in the metals industry, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our Mexico team. The role focuses on safe handling, storage, and movement of materials, accurate inventory, and timely order fulfillment.

You will supervise daily warehouse activities, train team members, coordinate with Logistics, ensure orders are shipped on time, maintain inventory accuracy, enforce safety procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Formación

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead, train, coach, and motivate warehouse team members.
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
  • Coordinate closely with the Logistics Department to align shipping schedules, transportation requirements, and inventory availability.
  • Communicate operational priorities, shipment status, and potential delays to logistics and other stakeholders.
  • Enforce safety procedures, warehouse policies, and operational standards.
  • Monitor warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and operational challenges.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Position Overview

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials and products within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and compliance with company safety and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Working Conditions
