Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities
General Objective
Manage warehouse activities, including compliance with safety standards, personnel supervision, inventory control and accuracy, as well as material receiving and shipping operations. Administer and coordinate warehouse operations, internal logistics, inventory control, shipping, and material receiving processes, ensuring inventory integrity, continuity of production supply, and compliance with corporate, legal, and safety standards, contributing to the achievement of the plant’s operational and financial objectives.
As Warehouse Coordinator, Your Key Responsabilities Will Be
- Attend the Shift Start Meeting (Top 5 Meeting).
- Comply with the Internal Work Regulations, the 7 Mandatory Safety Rules, the 13 Logistics Safety Rules, and all established company policies.
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling, storage, and distribution of materials. Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and the application of warehouse best practices (FIFO, material labeling, and rotation), while maintaining ERP and WMS systems updated.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, managing logistics providers and optimizing transportation and freight performance. Maintain and update area documentation (procedures, work instructions, KPIs, and related documents). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Supply Chain, Quality, HSE, Human Resources, and Finance to support business objectives.
- Lead warehouse and logistics-related projects from planning through execution, ensuring on-time implementation and adherence to budget. Supervise, develop, and train warehouse personnel, fostering a positive, safe, and productive work environment.
- Ensure achievement of warehouse operational and financial objectives through effective budget management.
- Lead Hoshin activities to improve overall operational performance. Consistently apply the disciplinary process with team members.
- Comply with Faurecia Excellence System standards in daily activities. Maintain 5S standards within the work area.
- Attend company-required training sessions and apply acquired knowledge.
- Comply with the Code of Ethics and report any violations.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field (required).
English Intermediate Level
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar position or materials area.
- Supply chain processes: receiving, warehousing, material supply, and shipping operations (preferably within the automotive industry).
- Inventory management, Kanban systems, FIFO methodology, and material supermarkets.
- Experience using SAP for materials and inventory management.
