Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Ensure that materials received from suppliers meet all specifications and quality requirements defined by both the customer and the organization. Administer and develop the supplier quality system through supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
As SQA, Your Main Responsabilities Will Be
- Attend the Start-of-Shift Meeting (Top 5 Meeting).
- Comply with the Internal Work Regulations, the 7 Mandatory Safety Rules, the 13 Logistics Safety Rules, and all established policies.
- Monitor and manage supplier quality through QSS/GPS systems and performance indicators.
- Lead supplier development initiatives for underperforming suppliers to improve quality and compliance levels.
- Ensure that PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) validations and revalidations are completed on time and in full.
- Coordinate and validate corrective actions resulting from supplier non-conformities, including 8D methodologies, claims, and debit alerts.
- Support production in resolving quality issues related to supplier-provided materials and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate engineering changes, new product launches, and material documentation.
- Lead supplier meetings, including audits, performance reviews, and technical validations.
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to supplier quality claims and debit charges.
- Conduct supplier visits to address critical issues, validate processes, and verify implementation of corrective actions.
- Perform process, product, and system audits at supplier facilities in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements and internal standards.
- Validate supplier special processes such as welding, heat treatment, painting, and coatings.
- Comply with and promote Faurecia Excellence System standards in daily work activities.
- Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
- Attend company-defined training sessions and apply acquired knowledge.
- Comply with the Code of Ethics and report any violations.
Your profile and competencies to succeed
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field (degree completed).
Experience & Required Knowledge
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Quality area within the manufacturing industry.
